Annual Rally

One of the main events in our calendar is our annual rally which takes place on the last Sunday in May. It is held at Park Farm show field in Dumfries.

Our 31st Annual Rally in 2008 was a little windy while setting up but was dry and sunny for the big day. The theme was ’60 Years of Nuffield’ and we had around 32 Nuffield, Leyland and Marshall tractors.

The Saturday evening entertainment in the Rugby Club next to the show field also had its best turn out for a long time. Many commented about how good a time they had.

Our first rally, in May 1977, had 57 tractor exhibits.

The 2008 event saw catalogue entries of;

143 tractors

60 Stationary Engines

42 Cars

12 Motor / Pedal cycles

19 Commercial Vehicles

10 Agricultural machines

plus a variety of Implements, Collections, Stalls and Displays.
